Andy Fairweather Low first came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner. Since the early days Andy has gone on to work with greats such as Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Roger Waters and hundreds more.

His first solo album in 24 years Sweet Soulful Music was released in 2007 followed by The Very Best Of Andy Fairweather Low and a Live DVD.
Two more solo releases followed and a DVD / Double live CD this Spring sees the latest chapter in the story develop.

Andy Fairweather-Low learned to play guitar and began his music career in a band called The Taffbeats. He came to fame as the singer in the band Amen Corner, who had hit singles between 1967 and 1969 with “Gin House Blues”, “The World Of Broken Hearts”, “Bend Me Shape Me”, “High In The Sky”, “(If Paradise Is) Half As Nice” and “Hello Suzie”. At the end of the decade the band separated and Andy launched a solo career, which produced the hit singles “Reggae Tune” in 1974 and “Wide Eyed And Legless” in 1975. In the 1980s, financial problems forced him to finish his solo career but he continued to work in the music business, touring as a guitarist with stars such as George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison and Roger Waters.

Andy Fairweather Low and The Low riders are playing two nights at Backstage at The Green Hotel Kinross for Mundell Music.
