The Sensational Alex Harvey Experience are the UK's Number 1 tribute to
THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND.
The idea to form the band was born in 2013 when they were asked to perform a few SAHB songs at a Charity Event and they went down a storm, so much so that they were asked to perform a full SAHB set the following year and again were well received. The decision was taken to continue to perform, and SAHE has been going from strength to strength ever since..
With increasing numbers and interest on social media, gigs have increased and the band is touring more than ever.
In an interesting twist, the band's keyboard player David Cowan has worked with 2 original SAHB members.. Bassist Chris Glen's band ''THE OUTFIT'' from 2014-2016 and Zal Cleminson's Sin Dogs from 2017-2019.
SAHE Bassist Nelson McFarlane was also part of Zal Cleminson's Sin Dogs.
2022 was the 50th Anniversary of the release of the first SAHB album (Framed). In the first of a series of recorded tributes a 3 track EP has been released on all major streaming and download sites. These include reworked versions of 'Isobel Goudie', 'Rock n' Rool' and 'Dogs of War'. The EP is called ''Witches, Dogs, and Rock & Rool'.

You can expect to hear all of the best-known SAHB songs and a few surprises and rarities thrown in as well! The band embraces the theatrics of the original band. They are first and foremost SAHB fans themselves! The band has been described by Zal Cleminson himself as “the best SAHB tribute band by far”. Alex Harvey Jr has also been quoted as saying “My Dad would have approved”
The band has previously toured venues in the North of England, and will be returning during 2020 so this will be a last chance to catch them for some time. Also, in an interesting twist, members of the Band were also in Zal Cleminson’s band /Sin‘Dogs/ which released Vol.1 during 2018 to critical acclaim (whilst also touring extensively in the UK and Europe)
There will be faithful recreations of favourite songs from the back catalogue from albums like Next, Framed, The Impossible Dream and Tomorrow Belongs to Me. The stage show will also not disappoint!
